Le Francais

My French language study is coming along nicely. I am using the Pimsleur Language Learning system and have to say that it works! I am primarily a visual learner, so the thought of learning language solely by audition didn't seem plausible to me (plus it brought back unpleasant memories from high school French 1 and 2 class!)

However, these tapes are really good. I am up to lesson ten and actually have learned how to speak French fairly well. Granted, all I am good for now is how to ask where a street is or how to order wine in a restaurant! LOL! Still, the method works and is really easy to use. I just pop the CD in and spend 30 minutes per day repeating what I hear. The key thing is that I actually can understand what is being spoken -- I am still a bit slow at answering, but I can understand the language lessons! Hoorah!
